swimming-pool2.jpgBeware of the water parasites. It might cause you some serious illness. The presence of chlorine-resistant parasites had been identified in U.S. water parks and pools and now the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta is on further studies on ways to fight these parasites. These parasites are known as Cryptosporidium (also known as crypto) and is found on feces which can be the transmitted easily through water. Now what happens if one ingests it? It will simply cause diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramps, headaches, vomiting and a low grade fever which might last for 2 weeks. Outbreaks have increase rapidly and people should know that chlorine can’t kill crypto, said Jonathan Yoder of the CDC. People who are ill can transmit their illness if they swim so be aware and don’t be careless. So if you don’t want to end up suffering those illnesses caused by crypto be careful and make sure that your swimming safe.
